Translator in Messenger is a built-in tool for translating messages between an operator and a user. You can translate individual incoming and outgoing messages, as well as text before sending — directly in the chat window, without using third-party translators.
The translator does not change the language of AI Reply. It is an operator tool and works only when the operator replies manually.
AI generates replies based on its instructions from AI Settings — Bot Personality — the AI language is set in Response Style within the same section (see AI Settings — Bot Personality), not through the Messenger translator.
When to use it
- A lead writes in a foreign language, and the operator works in Russian
- Sales communicates with an international audience
- Support receives requests from different countries
- E-commerce works with several regions at the same time
- You need to quickly understand a message without copying the text to external services
