How to create a Smart Filter
1. Click Add Condition
Each condition is added on a separate line. A condition consists of: a parameter; an operator; a value.2. Set up the conditions
Example:Tag has VIPTotal Deposit > 100Country is Italy3. Check the results
The filter is applied immediately. The chat list updates automatically. If 0 chats are found:the condition is too strictor the values are specified incorrectly.4. Save the filter
Click Save Filter. You can save the filter in My Filters — for yourself only. Team filters are created in Custom Filters — saved segments.
Available parameters
Smart Filters support 11 parameters.
Parameter | What it filters |
Step | Current step |
Flow | Active flow |
Tags | Tags |
Custom Field | Custom Fields |
Tracker Field | Tracker parameters |
Assign | Assigned manager |
Status | Chat status |
Sale Stage | Sales stage |
Events | Events |
Total Deposit | Total deposit amount |
Created At | Creation date |
Filtering operators
Different parameters use different operators. This is important for setting up conditions correctly.
Different parameters use different comparison operators — this is critical for building correct conditions.
Standard parameters: Step, Flow, and Status
Available operators:
Operator | What it does |
is | Exact match |
is any | Any of the selected values |
is not | Exclude a value |
Examples: Step is Registration — will show all users at the Registration step.
Flow is Main Funnel — will show users inside a specific Flow.
Status is not Finished — will hide completed chats.
Sale Stage and Assign
Additional operators for checking empty values are available for Sale Stage and Assign.
Operator | What it does |
is | Exact match |
is any | Any of the selected values |
is not | Exclude a value |
is empty | Field is empty |
is not empty | Field is filled in |
Examples: Assign is empty — users without an assigned manager.
Assign is not empty — the user already has an assigned manager.
Sale Stage is FD — users at the First Deposit stage.
Sale Stage is not empty — the sales stage is already set.
Tags and Events
Tags and Events work like lists. A single user can have multiple tags and events at the same time.
Operator | What it does |
has any | Has at least one value |
has all | Has all selected values |
has none | Does not have the selected values |
Tip: has any = OR; has all = AND; has none = WITHOUT.
Examples: Tags has any VIP, Hot — users with any of these tags.
Tags has all VIP, Deposit — only those who have both tags at the same time.
Events has none Sale — hides users with the Sale event.
Custom Fields and Tracker Fields
Standard comparison operators are used for Custom Fields and Tracker Fields.
Operator | What it does |
is | Exact match |
is any | Any of the selected values |
is not | Exclude a value |
Examples: country is Italy — only users from Italy.
source is facebook — Facebook traffic only.
language is not ru — all users except Russian-speaking ones.
Total Deposit — filtering by amount
Numeric operators are available for deposits.
Operator | What it does |
> | Greater than |
< | Less than |
>= | Greater than or equal to |
<= | Less than or equal to |
= | Exact value |
!= | Not equal to |
Examples: Total Deposit > 1000 — leads with a deposit greater than $1000.
Total Deposit <= 50 — leads with a deposit up to $50.
Total Deposit != 0 — users who have at least one deposit.
Created At — filtering by date
Used to find users by chat creation time.
Operator | What it does |
before | Before date |
after | After date |
between | Between dates |
Examples: Created At after 01.04.2026 — all users after April 1.
Created At between 01.04 and 07.04 — users for a specific period.
AND and OR — combining conditions
Smart Filters support logical operators:
Operator | How it works |
AND | All conditions at the same time |
OR | Any of the conditions |
AND
Narrows the selection. The user must match all conditions at once.
Example:
- Step is Second Deposit
- AND
- Total Deposit > 1000
It will show only leads: on the second deposit; with a deposit over $1000.
OR
Expands the selection. Matching at least one condition is enough.
Example:
- Country is Italy
- OR
- Country is Spain
Shows users: from Italy; or from Spain.
Important: AND narrows the selection; OR expands the selection.
Do not mix a large number of AND and OR without checking. Complex conditions can: find nothing; find too many chats; conflict with each other. If the filter behaves strangely: remove some conditions; check each one separately; find the conflicting condition.
My Filters and Custom Filters
After saving, the filter is placed into one of two categories.
Type | Who can see it | Where it is stored |
My Filters | Only you | Locally |
Custom Filters | The entire team | Inside the bot |
My Filters
The operator's personal filters. Used for: personal work; daily segments; quick access to your chats. Created directly in Messenger.
Custom Filters
Shared filters for the entire team. Used for: sales departments; media buying; support; shared segments. Created via Bot Settings → CRM defaults → Custom Filters — see Custom Filters — saved segments.
Usage examples
My VIP leads
Sales Manager creates a filter: Tag has VIP AND Assign is Me AND Status is not Finished. Saves it as “My VIP”. Now the filter opens in one click.
Facebook traffic for the week
Team Lead creates: Tracker Field source = facebook AND Created At after 7 days ago. Saves it to Custom Filters via Custom Filters — saved segments. Now the filter is available to the entire team.
